Boughton & Eastwell Cricket Club has updated us on the latest developments with the pavilion.

The news:

Exciting things are happening at the club! By the time you're reading this, you may haveseen some serious action on the green as the old pavilion has been torn down andwork on the new one has begun. A huge thank you to all residents who’ve been patient with the traffic disruptions and noise – we appreciate your support!

This new pavilion isn’t just for cricket lovers; it’s a space for the entire community.
We’re building a sustainable, eco-friendly hub that everyone can enjoy.
It’ll be a welcoming environment where cricket is for all, with proper changing areas for
girls – no more using the loo to change! When the club isn’t using it, we hope local
groups will rent it out for meetings, parties, and events. We even have plans for a
community café, providing a place for the elderly and isolated to gather and connect.

Want to learn more about our vision? Head to www.becricket.club for all the details!

We’ve raised £237,000, enough to build the core structure, but we still need £63,000
to properly kit it out.
