Following the death of HRH The Duke of Edinburgh, people may wish to pay tribute to him and offer condolences to Her Majesty The Queen.
In the interests of keeping everyone safe, the Lord Lieutenant’s office has taken the decision to not open up physical condolence books in any of the Local Authority buildings.
Instead, residents are being asked to use the online book of condolence provided on the website of The Royal Household.
Anyone who does not have access to the internet may to send in their tributes by post: Tribute to HRH The Duke of Edinburgh, The Civic Office, Sessions House, County Road, Maidstone ME14 1XQ. You may wish to let any friends without internet access know about this option.
Locally, the flag outside St Christopher's Church, Boughton Lees is at half mast. The Church remains open for private prayer.
