Local Government Reorganisation - your views needed!

The government has launched a consultation on which model of local government should be chosen for Kent & Medway.

You can view the options and more information online on the Kent Leaders website.

The consultation is open until 26 March 2026. Details of how you can respond are detailed on the consultation website.

This is likely to be an important change to how residents are democratically represented on a regional level.

Parish Councils are being retained, with likely some new ones created (where there isn't one) to help represent people at the most local, first tier of local government and inmprove their quality of life.
