Road Closure Sandyhurst Lane 8/9 October

Openreach - Temporary Road Closure - Sandyhurst Lane, Boughton Aluph - 8th October 2025 (Ashford District)

Due to works planned to be undertaken by Openreach, it will be necessary to close part of Sandyhurst Lane, Boughton Aluph from 8th October 2025 with estimated completion by 9th October 2025, between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between numbers 141 and 154, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Sandyhurst Lane, A251 Faversham Road, A2042 Faversham Road, A28 Canterbury Road, Simone Weil Avenue, Simone Weil Roundabout, A20 Maidstone Road North Of Drovers Roundabout and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole and cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.
