Pilgrims Way Closure 8-9 September

Openreach - Temporary Road Closure - Pilgrims Way, Boughton Aluph - 8th September 2026 (Ashford District)

Due to works planned to be undertaken by Openreach, it will be necessary to close part of Pilgrims Way, Boughton Aluph from 8th September 2026 with estimated completion by 9th September 2026, between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Valleyrood, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Wye Road, A28 Canterbury Road, Church Lane, Pilgrims Way and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole and cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.
